Current talking points - regular working party dates:
To help with site maintenance a regular working party will
take place on the second Sunday of each month during the season, starting on
September 9 with another on October 14, then starting again in March. The
sessions will be from 10 – 12 and we welcome all allotment holders to join us
and help keep the site tidy. Please bring equipment and enthusiasm for a
structured programme of activities.
It was agreed at the AGM that an interim payment for water
would be collected in September. As the weather has been so wet and we are
awaiting a water bill, it has been decided to defer the collection of payments
until we have a clearer idea of the actual cost.
Some areas of the allotments have become overgrown. It is
the individual responsibility of allotment holders to maintain their plot –
please contact the Committee if you are experiencing a problem keeping on top
of your area.
The door hinges on the container have rotted. Various
options have been considered, but nothing has resolved the problem. If you
could help, please contact a Committee member.
